Clean house!

Well my cage got cleaned today,  which pisses me off because I have to organize everything all over again.  It got me thinking about spring cleaning and all that so I got some tips for everybody  who wants a cage/house as awesome as mine.  Follow these steps in you'll be livin la vida dolce in no time.

1.  Fluff Your sleeping hole.
You spend half of your life sleeping, it should be in a a comfortable place.  Try to pick a place in your home as far away from your bathroom spot as possible.  Make sure the area is dark and enclosed. Now fill up that space with as much comfortable soft materials as possible.  leave a small path to get out and just enough room to sleep.

2. Your Potty Spot
Pick a corner of your home far from bed and food. This is were you go to the bathroom.  Always try to go to the bathroom in the same place, over and over.  It's easy to forget where you go to the bathroom after you clean it (cus the smell is gone).  If this is the case, try to leave a piece of poop behind next time you clean, that way your bathroom will be easy to find later.

3.  Take Care of messes right away
In case you do have to poop in a part of your house that is not your bathroom, you should throw it away immediately so you don't confuse it with your bathroom later.  I usually toss mine out the nearest opening of my house.  That should work for humans too.

4.  Food Storage
Where ever your replenishing food source is, you should have a back up.  As soon as my food hole refills itself, I stuff my cheeks and hide it as a secret stash because you don't know when you'll get some more.  Also, its really awesome having food in your bed so you don't have to get up to eat.

5.  Keep everything in its area.
Now that I've told you how to organize, your last tip is to keep it that way. Keep your food off your wheel, your poop out of your bed, and you'll have  a nice place to live until that next big clean where you throw everything away and refill it all again.  Good luck human!
